Tuesday Highlights

Good morning.

  1. In the zone, with others in the same place.
  2. One categorization of “two kinds of people” … I like the adage “there are two kinds of people, those who think there are two kinds of people and those who don’t.”
  3. Them wimpy gymnasts. Or not.
  4. So … off the radar or just hidden motivations. We have a President who is keen on not revealing his actual reasons.
  5. On good faith in discussion and actions.
  6. See. The compromise that wasn’t wasn’t even.
  7. Pointing at self in Lent (by self I mean myself not the author).
  8. Oh, heck, on the use of expletives which generally just demonstrate the lack of intelligence and education on the part of the speaker.
  9. Oh, honey … he won’t call you … you’re a conservative so you’re not really a woman.
  10. Why does this question even get asked? Isn’t the answer completely obvious.
  11. Touching in part on the question (recently discussed) on the relationship between Christianity and Greek Philosophy, to whit “unless contemplated through philosophy …”
  12. Statistics.
  13. Whence liberty and Mr Santorum?
  14. How close to that are we here?

    1. Sadly she is technically a slut, at least by the meaning of the word I laid out which is a term used to describe a woman whom one thinks has irresponsibly loose sexual mores. (Anyone who disagrees with me should put themselves on the record here of asserting that there is no responsibility issue with having a child out of wedlock with an unemployed(able) father while still in HS and without any means of actually supporting yourself that does not involve milking off your mother’s fame)

    2. Unlike Ms. Fluke, didn’t she previously call someone a faggot simply because he posted on his blog or facebook that he found the Alaskan reality show boring? If so she has already put herself in the gutter which means she has no business complaining about people who respond to her in kind.

As I pointed out if she would like to respond by calling Bill Mahr a dick or assshole, I would likewise see no need for Obama to call Bill to consol his feelings.

  2. 10.Why does this question even get asked? Isn’t the answer completely obvious.

Does it even get asked? The author cites that it was recently asked on an academic email list he is on and he recalls it was asked once before….ten years ago. So who actually, seriously asks it in everyday discussion about law?

  3. 4.So … off the radar or just hidden motivations. We have a President who is keen on not revealing his actual reasons.

Exactly what policies have been enacted to ‘specifically’ cause energy prices to increase.
