  9. It occurs to me that is a relationship for which I have little to no understanding, one in which a spouse turns to legal redress for such a thing is not a marriage which has any common ground with mine.

    Seems to miss scale. Tallying the # of bank failures should also include a tally of the bank assets (deposits) in those failed banks. It appears the failing banks these days are numerous but very small basically adding up to not much.

    Well clearly this marriage was failing as the wife was having an affair. But what’s problematic is that the prosecutor is choosing to go after the husband for checking his wife’s email. You can only write the law so well, prosectors must exercise judgement when applying it. I don’t have a problem going after a man who cracks his wife’s email account to, say, subvert her attempts to avoid abuse or when a stalker breaks into someone’s email…..but if the cracking wasn’t malicious I would say the prosecutor should decline to prosecute on the grounds that it’s more of a relationship issue than it is a crime against the state.
