  1. Noting a little ODS on the right.

Kudos for pointing it out! I think that’s the first time I’ve seen you do such a thing.

    Wrangling with Pascal’s wager.

Doesn’t deal with the two biggest problems:

    1) Pretending to believe because of statistical expectation of reward might not be sufficient to convince Deity to reward you.
    2) You might pick the wrong deity out of the thousands that have so far been inven… er… hypothesized.

    Witches and the media.

Damn liberal media. Exodus 22:18 clearly indicates that witches should be killed. Why does the BBC hate Islam, Christianity, and Judaism so much?!

  2. Mark says:

I’m pretty sure that Exodus 22:18 has nothing to do with witches being victimized in India.

  3. I read this sentence as implying that the cleric is also Muslim, but I guess it is ambiguous:

“Local police said the victims were Muslim widows who had been labelled as witches by a local cleric.”

Anyway, I didn’t say they were victimized because of the bible.

  4. Mark says:

    Fair enough.
