A reminder, to all. Tonight through Thursday you can “catch” the Canon of St. Andrew at Orthodox churches all over the land (world for that matter). The West (and East) are now all in lent and the Canon is, in my somewhat naive opinion, the one of the strongest expressions of liturgical repentance there is. So, if Lent=repentance … you have no excuse.

If you’re in the Chicago area, this would a fine place to be at 7pm. If you’ve never been there, a hint, the cell phone towers are behind the church on parish property. You can see them from quite a distance (and interestingly enough … from the air if you’re coming into Midway from the South).
I hope your Lenten Journey will bear much fruit.
