Prop 8 and Obama’s coattails.
The fact that so many African-Americans simultaneously voted for the first African-American president and against civil rights for gay people is just disgusting. I think that’s a prime example of religion causing good men to do evil.
Skepticism and uniform individualism.
That seems to reflect a fundamental misunderstanding of what skepticism is. Skepticism is not a refusal to believe and it’s not faith in the falsity of anything. It’s just a refusal to believe with no good reason. It’s a rejection of (blind or visually-impaired) faith.
Hey Mark
Did you see the still-frames from Obama’s speech the other night? Right after he congratulated McCain, he scratched his face with his middle finger extended. Turns out there was a similar “middle finger” incident with Hillary. Coincidence, or flipping the bird at opponents as he polishes them off?
Hmmm …
