Thanks for linking; and I meant to say that I’m glad you sumbitted to the Christian Carnival Renaissance edition – since you’re a polymath!
Unless Obama favors banning canine abortions, there’s no inconsistency.
Jennifer,
I’m a pseudo-polymath (with perhaps emphasis on the pseudo=fake)
JA,
You yourself have offered the notion that aborting the viable fetus (which is partial birth abortion) is inconsistent with value of life as such be it animal or human.
I said no such thing. I am disturbed by any abortions of viable fetuses, but I don’t think it’s necessarily inconsistent with value of life.
Moreover, I don’t speak for Obama.
JA,
I’m confused how aborting viable fetuses could be consistent with valuing life.
Well, one could conceivably draw the line at birth and not at viability, one could value the mother’s autonomy more than the life of the fetus, etc.

And let’s not forget that neither Obama or I are aborting viable fetuses. The question is whether it should be outlawed, not whether it’s immoral. Plenty of things are immoral but legal.
LOL- I just had to laugh at the Ephraim one. I told Pr Weedon over and over again= No matter where I go on the internet, there you are! He’s also my BIL
JA,
And how is that not like treatment of puppies and horses, immoral or illegal?
I don’t understand your question. Obama sponsored a bill to prevent horse (not horse fetus) slaughter. He opposes outlawing “partial-birth” abortion because, according to your link, he sees such a ban as part of “a concerted effort to steadily roll back” access to abortions.
I guarantee that if the horse (fetus) in question happened to be in the womb of a horse, let alone a woman, he wouldn’t be in favor of a law outlawing aborting it.
