So … Kerry Wasn’t Court-Martialed

Finally, at long last, apparently (not heralded very much either), I read somewhere (the “Corner” I think) that Mr Kerry wasn’t court-martialed. The reason he didn’t release the much ballyhoo’d records was that his Intelligence testing and grades as it turns out were inferior to GW Bush’s, which wouldn’t have cottoned very well with the “I’m smart he’s dumb” tack he took in the election.

Tying that into what Mr Schraub is writing here, I’d have to guess that perception trumps reality in politics. And nobody (in America) likes a smart-ass.
